Program Overview

Smiling studentThe Washington Jesuit Academy is an Independent/ Catholic Middle School for boys from low-income and underserved communities in grades 6th-8th. All students attend on full scholarship once admitted and financial criteria is met. WJA places heavy emphasis on an academically challenging curriculum, character development and extracurricular involvement, preparing them for strong academic college-prep high schools.

WJA is known for having motivated, conscientious, hard-working students and highly qualified teachers. The school takes pride in its small class sizes, extended day (7:30am-7:30pm) extended year (11 months) program, mandatory 7 week Summer Enrichment Program, and Graduate Support Program.
