Legacy Society Planned Giving
Supporters of the Washington Jesuit Academy may choose to “Leave a Legacy” through a planned gift. Making a charitable bequest in your will – or giving the gift of real estate or insurance, a gift annuity, or a charitable lead or remainder trust – benefits the Academy and its students far into the future.
Bequest language
Making a charitable bequest to WJA in your will makes a lasting statement and supports the work of the Academy forever. To make a bequest, please use this official legal bequest language:
"I, [name], of [city, state, ZIP], give, devise and bequeath to the Washington Jesuit Academy, Washington, DC [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property] for its unrestricted use and purpose.” WJA's tax ID number is 52-2336694.

Consider giving the gift of stock to the Academy.

Real Estate
A gift of real estate is significant to WJA and tax-friendly to the donor. Consider donating real estate as an outright gift, a gift that is retained for your life, or a bargain sale where you receive some of the cash value and donate the remainder to WJA.
