Why Graduate Support?

ReadingDid you know that the road to college goes through middle school? There is a clear relationship between middle school preparation, high school success, and entry into college, and the Washington Jesuit Academy is committed to seeing that relationship through.

The goals of our Graduate Support Program include:

  • Expanding our graduates’ vision of themselves and the world by challenging them academically, physically, ethically and socially to maximize their success in high school
  • Engaging parents in the transition of their young men from 9th grade through high school - and beyond
  • Providing additional resources such as tutoring, internships, and mentoring for increased academic success
  • Developing responsible and contributing members of the community
  • Fostering an environment of healthy collaborative relationships among students and their families. Having 100% of Jesuit Academy alumni earn a high school diploma and to maximize their intellectual, spiritual, and leadership potential
