Counseling Services Overview

WJA offers a full range of counseling services through its full-time counselor and partnerships with resources in the community.  Services offered include:

  • Individual and small group counseling
  • Parenting Workshops
  • Evening seminars on topics of interest
  • Screening for learning differences
  • Referrals to outside resources/practitioners
  • Consultation with teachers and parents on students social/emotional/academic issues 

Community Resources for Families

Washington, D.C. offers many resources for the health and well-being of its families and children.  Whether the issue is addiction, depression, well-child care, mammograms, or a need for transitional housing just to name a few, there is an agency to help.
