Counseling Services Overview
WJA offers a full range of counseling services through its full-time counselor and partnerships with resources in the community. Services offered include:
- Individual and small group counseling
- Parenting Workshops
- Evening seminars on topics of interest
- Screening for learning differences
- Referrals to outside resources/practitioners
- Consultation with teachers and parents on students social/emotional/academic issues
Community Resources for Families
Washington, D.C. offers many resources for the health and well-being of its families and children. Whether the issue is addiction, depression, well-child care, mammograms, or a need for transitional housing just to name a few, there is an agency to help.
