![]() AcademicsIn the Jesuit tradition, the rigorous academic curriculum at Washington Jesuit Academy focuses on core academic skills: reading, writing, mathematics, history, and science. Moral values and character are equally important and reinforced daily through the study of world religious traditions and social justice. Classes are limited in size to twelve students, allowing teachers to provide the individual attention that students need to achieve academic success. Only 11% of WJA students enter the Academy reading at grade level. To rapidly and successfully improve this percentage, Washington Jesuit offers both Reading and a Language Arts courses. The Academy also offers courses in Math, Science, Social Studies, and Religious Studies. |
