Our CHIEF FINANCIAL & OPERATIONS OFFICER

Karen Gilroy brings 25 years of professional leadership experience to her role as Chief Financial and Operations Officer, including 15 years in finance and operations with 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Prior to WJA, she served as Vice President of Finance and Administration at St. Ann's Center for Children, Youth and Families, At WJA, Karen oversees the Academy's fiscal strategy and operations, supervising departments including human resources, IT, accounting, and facilities. She brings a longstanding connection to the Archdiocese of Washington and the greater DMV community, along with a collaborative spirit and deep commitment to mission-driven work.
